Midazolam is not an anti-psychotic, it's an anxiolytic. I say this firstly because it's better to go through the bad trip and deal with it and learn from it, and secondly because from what I have heard Thorazine is an evil, evil drug.

I'd like to know so that perhaps I use it for myself the extra benefit outweights the extra side effects. Ridiculous LSD scenario 1 2 3 all.

Any would really do the trick, but haloperidol is one of the most sedating and it comes in IV so it can be given and have a quick effect, so its used most frequently in a hospital setting. Within 30 minutes I was no longer tripping.

Would zopiclone or other benzos accomplish the same method to bring you down? More palatable I would say, but not even close to terminating a trip.
